On 14th June we the students of grade 10 got an opportunity to visit One of the largest seri-culture farm located at khopsai, khaski. We were told that we will be taken to farm around 10 o clock. We stand in line and head for the bus as were also instructed to carry lunch our self as near by there will not be the availability of shops. It was a 2 hour ride to the destination as we enjoyed all the scenery and views even enjoyed the bumpy rode at last.

Then we reached our destination around 12:30 around then just the in front of the entrance there was a short meeting going on background then a instructor came to us and greet us. He showed us the eggs of silkworm including 2 types:fertilized and unfertilized. Fertilized eggs are the one born giving younger one and unfertilized. They were laid on a chart paper type thing. He said one silkworm can lay egg about 300-500 that is a huge number.

Then we headed towards the blower this was used to kill pupa inside cocoon to excrete the silk thread and some are left for the next generation arrivals. In the smoker the temperature is increased around 25 degree Celsius. Then we saw others machine for making of silk and the distributing and many more.
